Planning for a simple and laidback getaway for the weekend? Potipot island is calling you with your family, friends, and loveys! Just be sure that its okay for them to camp and to experience suburban life for awhile. Here's a glimpse of our bonding time in Candelaria, Zambales (Philippines).

There is a 5-6 hour road trip from Manila going to Uacan, Candelaria, Zambales and a 10-minute boat ride from Sun Bloom Resort to Potipot Island.

Price Tag: It's all about the beat and good vibes

I was along the road when I heard this song and left me humming it for a week now. The beat is just oh-so-summery and is givin' me good vibes, really. I may not agree with the lyrics that much (who doesnt' need money by the way? hehe) but this leads me to a daydream to hit the beach or out-of-town again while sippin' on my fruit shake by the shore, lake, field, garden...whatsoever (wherever *technically*) then havin' Price Tag as my background music. The music video was a bit boring so I just chose this chic version with on-screen lyrics. Cha-ching cha-ching, ba-bling ba-bling!

Hit on the lines:

So we aint gon stumble and fall never
Waiting to see this in the sign of defeat uh uh
So we gon keep everyone moving their feet
So bring back the beat and then everyone sing

Good vibes,

Relax, Say It Right

If there's no Lady Gaga, my favorite female artist would be Nelly Furtado! I was browsing my ol' playlist and Furtado is everywhere plus the remix version of the songs. Caught up with this song leavin' me to hit it a number of times during my Friday vibes.

And the lyrics goes like this...

Took a ride to the end of the lane
Where no one ever goes.
Ended up on a broken train with nobody I know.
But the pain and the longing's the same.
When you're dying
Now I’m lost and I’m screaming for help alone.

Relax, take it easy
For there is nothing that we can't do.
Relax, take it easy
Blame it on me or blame it on you.

It’s as if I’m scared.
It’s as if I’m terrified.
It’s as if I'm scared.
It’s as if I’m playing with fire.
Scared.
It’s as if I’m terrified.
Are you scared?
Are we playing with fire?

Relax
(Love) There is an answer to the darkest times.
It’s clear we don’t understand it, but the last thing on my mind
Is to leave you.
I believe that we’re in this together.
Don’t scream – there are so many roads left.

Relax, take it easy
For there is nothing that we can't do.
Relax, take it easy
Blame it on me or blame it on you.

Relax, take it easy
For there is nothing that we can't do.
Relax, take it easy
Blame it on me or blame it on you.

Relax, take it easy
For there is nothing that we can't do.
Relax, take it easy
Blame it on me or blame it on you.

Relax, take it easy
For there is nothing that we can't do.
Relax, take it easy
Blame it on me or blame it on you.

It’s as if I’m scared.
It’s as if I’m terrified.
It’s as if I'm scared.
It’s as if I’m playing with fire.
(Relax)
Scared.
It’s as if I’m terrified.
Are you scared?
Are we playing with fire?

Relax
Relax

Am I terrified? Am I scared?

What's on my desk?

What if someone ambush-ly asked me 'What's on my desk' rather than 'What's in my bag?', this will be the mess (?) *hihi* that will welcome the saint!

My working table at the client's office in Ortigas, my desk in Makati office follows the 5S rule. =)
1. Laptop issued from the company and I bought my own 3D optical mouse
2. Orange post-it and stripey paper clips
3. Sports Gallery purple tumbler
4. My 2nd SecurID token! I lost the first ever which costs 5,000 bucks. Whatta!
5. A reading material entitled 'The Rise of Asia's Middle Class' (haven't read though) =)
6. Cutesy pinky lollipop-py cellphone pouch *wink*
7. A cup of de caffeinated coffee
8. A Year in High Heels by Camilla Morton (I'm already in page 295 of 501) Uh oh!
9. My oldie Samsung phone
10. A ballpen! I always have one wherever I go and it should be just cheap pen because I'm good in losin' it! =D
11. I found this CD at home given to me by my friend Rhina last year. It was our out-of-town trip in Lucban, Quezon and reminiscing the moment attacks when I started browsing the photos. Aaaawwww!
12. I wonder why I have two perfumes on my desk?! Victoria's Secret PINK Soft & Pure and Rustan's Le Posh Blvd Kisses. Pink is half-full and Kisses getting empty. P-fume freak?!
13. Tadddaaa...the 'certificate' from Confucious Institute! My name written on it with Chinese symbol for LOVE! <3 <3 <3
14. Latest copy of Development Asia on 'Dealing with Disasters' -- a must-read, totally informative

Grind it,

Busy yet buzzy

Summer 2011 has started already and this blog has taken its vacation ahead of moi! I don't even notice that its almost half-way of the Rabbit's year and I'm one week away from quarter life crisis. Middle of 2010 was really a rocky road and by November until end of Q1 were the busy bonanza period. Schedules piled-up but I stayed buzz-y in the e-world through my Facebook (this is given!) and tantananan....

Twitter (bvnantes) - have 3,151 tweets as of 26/04/2011 5:40pm and I'm updating it through web, mobileweb, and mobile via Tweetitow.

Twitpic - uploaded 105 photos and 1 video. Can't wait who's next in the 'spotted' limelight since the first one I caught was Mac Lintag. Lol!

Multiply (dreweybelle) - this serves as my FB account's back-up and old school photos are here! I just noticed that I have chosen a very chic theme and customized this long before Gaga has gone gaga. Was it an anticipation? *wink*

Friendster (dreweybelle) - yes, this is still alive with 191 testimonials and 19 albums! Oh, but I received an e-mail that Friendster users shall back-up photos, blogs, and other important data in their "Apps" site before 31 May 2011. See info below:

So there, I still do updates through my 5 major social network accounts and counting this Yes! No Caffeine! as the 6th.

Highfive,
