Lucky!

Just got lucky a week ago during our firm wide Christmas Party! I was the 2nd prize winner in the raffle and took home a brand new 21-inch DeVant LCD TV.

My dad was really happy because LCD TV was in his Christmas wish list for this year. Good thing I won since I wasn't able to get my 13th month pay from the previous company I worked with...I don't know how will I be able to buy dad's request. But thank God, it was answered. Whew! :)

Love U Leave U

So I was channeling my emo-ness once again, downloading random songs off of YouTube.  And Taa-daaaaaah! I got my song that will be running on my playlist for days.

Starting now....

"And it feels so much lighter, now I've met you...
And honey you should know, that I could never go on without you... Green eyes..."

haunting..

Your fingertips across my skin
The palm trees swaying in the wind, images
You sang me Spanish lullabies
The sweetest sadness in your eyes, clever trick

Well, I'd never want to see you unhappy
I thought you'd want the same for me

Goodbye, my almost lover
Goodbye, my hopeless dream
I'm trying not to think about you
Can't you just let me be?

So long, my luckless romance
My back is turned on you
Should've known you'd bring me heartache
Almost lovers always do

We walked along a crowded street
You took my hand and danced with me in the shade
And when you left you kissed my lips
You told me you would never ever forget these images, no

Well, I'd never want to see you unhappy
I thought you?d want the same for me

Goodbye, my almost lover
Goodbye, my hopeless dream
I'm trying not to think about you
Can't you just let me be?

So long, my luckless romance
My back is turned on you
Should've known you'd bring me heartache
Almost lovers always do

I cannot go to the ocean
I cannot try the streets at night
I cannot wake up in the morning
Without you on my mind

So you're gone and I'm haunted
And I bet you are just fine
Did I make it that easy to walk
Right in and out of my life?

Goodbye, my almost lover
Goodbye, my hopeless dream
I'm trying not to think about you
Why can't you just let me be?

So long, my luckless romance
My back is turned on you
Should've known you'd bring me heartache
Almost lovers always do

Scarlet Cake

Here we go again...it's weekend! From a spa session then looking for a place to eat somewhere comfy with special ambiance. Ended up in a restaurant where food is just sssooooo tasty and worth trying. Did not regret anything from their entree up to dessert. Cookbook Kitchen! This cozy resto is found in Eastwood, Libis.

And yeah, I'm showing one of the best desserts...Kittin's Scarlet Cake! A reddish velvet-y cake with cocoa powder. Yum! I'm sure I will go back here once my taste buds crave again for a cake that is not-so-sweet. Not too expensive too since the price per slice is less than Php200 and I even shared it with my friend Rhina.

iPhone 4 Metal Case

Found a link over at Lifehacker.com regarding this awesome iPhone 4 Metal Case. Super interesting! I just hope I'll be able to replace my back cover once my new Metal case arrives!! Yaaaaaaaay!!

...Tout Le Monde Est Une Drôle De Personne...

A friend of mine introduced me to this song and it has been my lullaby of choice since then.  Distinctive voice, beautiful melody, French, awww! the perfect lullaby!  I could've sworn I knew every lyrics to this song.. Bah!

Just listen to it..

Artist: Carla Bruni

Share-a-blog: SAVANA vs. SABANA

We just found out that sharing a blog together might be far more interesting because we’ll share our ideas together and at the same time be more aware of what’s happening in our current destined places somewhere out there. This also adds pressure on us to update the page on a regular or occasional basis too! LOL! It’s so funny that we do not know where this Yes!!! No Caffeine!!! will lead us and what could be the outcome. It might be the usual goody-ol’ SAVANA or the naughty within us…SABANA!!! LET’S SEE!

Here goes why I.T. peeps can be real IT gurls of the century…woohoo to SAVANA!

STORIES. This blog will be full of STORIES!!! Lots of ‘S’ stories that rock our wonderful world! SURPRISES! SHINDIG! STARS! SNEAK PEAK! STYLE! SENSIBLE STUFF that you’ll die to hear about! So, stay-tuned…wait and SEE!

ARIANNE’S RANTS. The first owner of this page! Loves to talk about her lifestyle in the City of Lion. She’ll be one of the correspondents in this blog and will update us on the latest in-and-out all the way from her current hometown! SINGAPORE!

VOLATILE BELINDA. Another correspondent who’ll be bringing the most up-to-date trends, raves, and talk-of-the-town stuff in downtown Manila. And if mood persists…more information will be posted about the 7,107 islands in our beloved country – PHILIPPINES!

AWESOME! Who doesn’t want to read something that will make him or her say AWESOME or at least AAAaaawww!

NO! Promise, NO PORNOGRAPHY will be posted UNLESS you pay us good amount! Hahaha!

ANNOUNCEMENT and ADS. We’re unbiased. So anyone who wants to share their stories, ads, announcements, schedules, what’s hot-or-not are merely acceptable! Conflict of interest is allowed! Woah!

Let’s turn the table and face it in a different direction…then good girls have gone bad? That’s a big uh oh!!!

SHOCK. Shocking news. Secrets revealed. Stalker mode. Stubborn mood. Strangers shut-up!

ANNOY. What if Kingsley Amis inspired us? As the saying goes, “If you can’t annoy somebody, there’s little point in writing…” =)

BLIND ITEMS and BOO! If there’s nothing to say and we’re not into what majority is talking about…sorry, it’s a BOO BOO! Oh, we’re thinking of blabbing stuff that will make y’all excited (haha!) – BLIND ITEM! So, who’s the first one in our row? And oh please, don’t let us get you…SPOTTED!!!

ANCIENT. There will come a time we’ll post something from the past. Don’t you like to be a little primitive at times or be grateful with the history of our planet, mankind, or the universe? Some FYIs will not hurt us so bad right? It’ll just kill you to boredom.

NON-SENSE. If there’s no boring story to tell, then FINE! Let’s go to another major topic…NON-SENSE. Who knows, there’ll be readers who’ll find our non-sense post as something out-of-the-ordinary.

ATTACK! If we do hate you, oh noes…we’re saying our deepest sorry now. If our wicked mind started popping and we’re on the trail of brainstorming and planning…tttaaadddaaaa! You’ve been victimized! Who knows, it might be your road to fame or shame. You might be the headline in the next day’s broad sheet or tabloid. And now we’re pushing the button…CONNECTION ACTIVATE! Yehoo!

Excited,
Arianne & Belinda

Youth Olympic Games Closing Ceremony - Official Video

It's all because of you

So on my way to the office, I was on my blackberry listening on shuffle mode.  It hit this song. I realized, it almost sounds like a stalker song! Hahahahaha! This is fun! :) These lines struck me the most.

"And here I go, losing my control
I'm practicing your name
So I can say it to your face
It doesn't seem right to look you in the eye"

and the chorus..

"Say you'll stay, don't
Come and go like you do
Sway my way, yeah
I need to know all about you"

Real Yoga

So yesterday, Clyde (girl officemate) and I finally decided to take up our free-trial at Real Yoga.  As starters, we had Fusion Dance simply because we were told that this is the dance type with yoga. Or something like that.  I was bored with the idea of yoga.  I tried it at Sky Fitness (another free-trial) and it was a one-time thing for me.  At Real Yoga, we will try to take classes which are not too yoga like a taebo-esque class called Combat.  The instructor looks like a marine.  But of course we will definitely try Hot Yoga.  This is when perspiration meets yoga. Exciting!!  :)

Youth Olympic Games Closing Ceremony

I finally got this ticket for the closing ceremony of YOG! Sponsored by Ate Ana (my ex-officemate from Radha and the-stairs-separate-our-apartment neighbor), I will be catching this legendary event, LIVE!! This ticket is actually a Visa Card from DBS so after the event, I can use this to link to my DBS savings account. It works as the ticket to the event and an ez-link card as well! I can use this same card to tap into buses and mrt. How dope is this! :) In a few more hours, I will be joining the crowd in raising Singapore's flag and sing their songs.. See you later at YOG! :)

numero uno

Randomly thinking of putting up a blog. And here it is.. :)
I will blog random things as it pass my way. Most probably during boredom and daydreams. ;)
Why the caffeine tag on my blog?! Because I have been caffeine-free for months now. Well, that's what I believe it to be. No more coffee in the morning, no more coffee during lunch breaks, no more coffee during coffee breaks, no coffee at night and this is freaky! With my 24/7 type of work, I need caffeine!! So why am I up and running?! No idea!!!
Let's enjoy this while it lasts! *clink clink*
